What you're paying for
When you pay to “save the clock,” you're paying for a digital feature: your name (and optional logo/message) displayed on the site as the Current Saviour, and additional time added to that round's countdown. You are not making a donation, and this payment is not processed as a charitable contribution.
No refunds
All payments are final. Because the site is a live, real-time leaderboard, it's possible for someone else to save the clock and take the Current Saviour spot immediately after you pay. This is part of how the site works, and isn't grounds for a refund.
Charitable donations
Each round, we donate 75% of that round's total revenue to a named charity (currently RNLI) once the round ends, and keep 25% to cover running costs. This is a discretionary donation made from our own business revenue, at our own choice. We are not acting as a fundraising platform, collection agent, or intermediary for any charity, and no charity is a party to your payment. Donations are made after each round ends, once funds have cleared.
Logos and content
Any logo, name, or message you submit must not be NSFW, offensive, abusive, or infringe on anyone else's rights. We review all uploads and reserve the right to reject or remove any content at our discretion, without affecting the validity of your payment.
Changes
We may update these terms, the mechanics of the site, or the charity featured in future rounds at any time.
